Visit of RC Thionville Porte de France

The fourth object of Rotary promotes the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. 

So, when the Rotary Club of Thionville, Porte de France, in the Moselle region of France decided upon a weekend visit to Canterbury, they contacted the RC of Canterbury and proposed a meeting.  And so it was on Saturday 02 May, 2009, a group from the two clubs went to Birdies Restaurant in Whitstable for fish and chips...
