Black Tie Charity Boxing Dinner

For those who like boxing our special Black Tie Charity Boxing Dinner, supporting the Boxing Club at the Prince of Wales Youth Club, was a night not to be missed. Held on Saturday 12th November at Canterbury's Westgate Hall, the night was a tremendous success - on a number of levels. Firstly, the Westgate Hall was packed and it provided those that came for the full evening (meal and boxing) with a wonderful experience. Secondly, through this prestige event we were able to raise funds for the hard-pressed Prince of Wales Youth Club, and enabled the Club to showcase the talents of its young boxers. And finally, it was an event around which different sections of our local community could unite - the passion of many of the supporters was amazing!

Subject to some last-minute bills, the evening has raised around £3,000. (A further anonymous donation meant that the total amount raised from the evening topped-out £4,000.)

Our thanks to all those who helped with organising the event and to all those who participated in the evening's success.
