Duck Race 2019 - counting in

Yet again we had to tuck our little yellow ducks away for the year after the Duck Race last Sunday.

There are well over 3,000 ducks in total, so this is no small feat. Luckily, our cheerful team are well practised at this and have a good system going, so that each duck is put back into boxes, sorted by number. Our red-marked corporate ducks are also sorted the same way. This counting-in step means the ducks will be ready for next year's race - but we still do another count out before the race to double check things are still OK.

Fortunately, the weather was bright (as were the gloves), our Rotarians were very eggs-act with their throwing and eveything was done in record time. An ample supply of doughnuts kept everyone chirpy!
