Duck race: Getting some tips!

One of our Club's Past Presidents, Richard Kemball-Cook, is fed up with never winning the Duck Race. Here he is with a pet duck (Billy!) - seems she put a word (bird) in his ear and gave him some egg-cellent insider tips!

We wonder what else the little bird told him...?

Why don't you join Richard by sponsoring some ducks for the race, to be held at 2.30pm on Saturday 8th September at Westgate Gardens Canterbury. Get members of your family to join in too and see if any land up in the top 3. (Don't forget, there's a £250 prize for the duck that comes 1st, £100 for 2nd and £50 for 3rd. Even if you don't win it's a great spectacle to watch).

Ducks will be available for sponsorship on Saturday 4 August at Whitefriar's Shopping Area between 9am and 4pm.

They will also be there on:
Saturday 25 August
Friday 31 August

This year's race is supported by the Kent Messenger Group and Gallagher.
