Duck Race 2018: Ducks 'for sale' at Whitefriars

Our busy Rotarians were up bright and early to set up our 'stand' to 'sell'* ducks for our Annual Duck Race on Saturday 21 July.

Our stand will be at Whitefriar's Shopping Area again on the following dates (between 9am and 4pm) - you won't miss our bright new banners!:
Saturday 21 July
Saturday 4 August
Saturday 25 August
Friday 31 August

Do come by and pick up a leaflet and meet our friendly crew too. And if you sponsor a duck, 'quack a smile' and try and capture a pic of yourself with our cardboard cutout!

The Duck Race will be taking place on Saturday 8 September at 2.30pm in Westgate Gardens, Canterbury (conditions permitting). First Prize £250; Second Prize £100, Third Prize £50. The race is fun for all the family, with ducks galore...and all the money raised goes to local or international charities. Make sure you put the date in your diary.

This year's race is supported by the Kent Messenger Group and Gallagher. We are grateful for their support.

(*You don't actually buy a duck - you sponsor one with a unique number which you cheer on at the race!)
