Great results for Eclipse in F1 in Schools Natl Finals!

Well done to team Eclipse for coming 3rd in the National Finals of the F1 in Schools Competition. The team also won best verbal presentation and were nominated for best engineered car as well as for the digital media award!

The team consists of Javier (Team Principal), Tom (Design Engineer), Evie (Enterprise Manager), Maisie (Outreach Coordinator) and Isaac (Marketing & Digital Media Manager).

We couldn't be more delighted for the team that we've been pleased to help sponsor (along with many others) through our Vocational Committee. One of our aims through the Committee is to encourage youngsters to get involved with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and several of our Members are STEM Ambassadors or are involved with STEM activities.

The team members have put in a lot of hard work during a time that has been difficult for many youngsters. We now have our fingers crossed for the World Finals in 2022!

Take a look at team Eclipse's highlights video here.

And follow their blog here.

Congratulations too to all others that took part in the event, especially 1st place winners @avidityracinguk and
2nd place winners @BlackoutWales
