F1 in Schools - Team Eclipse wins 1st overall in Regional Finals

We are delighted that Team Eclipse from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Faversham was placed 1st overall in the F1 in Schools UK Regional Finals, held online and with the awards ceremony broadcast live on Wednesday.

The Team - that we have helped support along with many other sponsors - also won Fastest and Best Engineered Car in a very exciting event. The youngsters watched the awards ceremony on their screens and their reactions were lovely to see (see link below).

In their Twitter posts the team thanked F1 in Schools for organising the event and congratulated all that took part. They also thanked all of their sponsors.

Team IQ from North London Collegiate School and Vulcan Racing from Harrow School came 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Our congratulations to all involved with the event. What a marvelous initiative that encourages youngsters into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers!
