Vocational visit to Canterbury Fire Station

An enthusiastic group of Rotarians and their partners gathered to visit the Fire Station at Canterbury.

Unfortunately, the visit was curtailed because the fire crews were out on shouts. In this hot weather that only makes our admiration for this emergency service all the greater. A peak through the window showed abandoned boots - symbolic (we guess) of how rapidly the teams must have had to leave.

We are very sorry to have missed the fire fighters on this occasion but hope we can arrange another visit at some other time.
