Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise's Golf Day

Members of our Club recently took part in the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise's Golf Day - which meant fun and fundraising for all who took part.

The "Annual Extravaganza" was held at Boughton Golf Club. In all there were 44 competitors this year - who made up 11 teams.

PP of our Club, Tim Brett (who was one of those that took part), was delighted to announce that "Somehow we won one of the prizes!" Others from our club were PPs Roger Clarke and Viv Pritchard, joined by Rtn Ian Wright, a former member of our Club (and now of Dover).

The Sunrise Club raised just over £3,000 on the day which we believe will help support TransAid and Demelza Hospice. Our congratulations to them for hosting the event and raising such a nice sum.
