When people are deaf it's easy for them to feel left out and lonely. Lip reading can help restore their ability to communicate.
Our Club had just donated £500 to Hi Kent help support Lip Reading Classes for the deaf in Canterbury.
Hi Kent is a local charity for the deaf and hard of hearing. It offers a range of services and support, including aftercare clinics for hearing aid users and (free) lip reading classes. The charity also teaches British Sign Language (Levels 1, 2 and 3) and runs Deaf Awareness Courses.
