Our three-pronged fundraising campaign by the Canterbury Rotary Clubs to support the Disasters Emergency Committee's Humanitarian Appeal for Ukraine has reached around £7,000 so far. That's wonderful!
The money has come in from our street collection last Saturday, donations from the three Canterbury Clubs (us, Sunrise & Forest of Blean) and our members, their friends & family plus our online appeal. How wonderful is that?! Thank to you everyone that contributed.
The online appeal is still ongoing - is it too much to hope that we might reach £10K? YOU can help us by sharing news about our appeal with everyone that you know, whether through social media or word of mouth. Please do pop over to our appeal page and make a donation now, if you can. Every little helps...though of course, we LOVE big donations too! A few minutes of your time could make a big difference to someone's life. Right now, DEC's charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing much-needed food, water, shelter and medical assistance. Help us to help them.
