Rotarians attend concert at Spiegeltent, Canterbury Festival

During her presentation to our Members recently, Canterbury Festival Director Rosie Turner's encouraged us to go along to this year’s Festival. So this is exactly what several Members of our Club and Inner Wheel did on the morning of Sunday 21 October.

For those that don’t know of it, the Spiegeltent is a special venue set up at the coach park in Canterbury for the Festival. The concert that our Members attended was one of the first concerts in the venue - by the Festival Chamber Orchestra, with oboist Ian Crowther.

It was a very good concert that had a wide range of music, notably Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Allegro) and Purcell’s Rondeau. Rtn Nan Miller made the arrangements to attend.

The Canterbury Festival goes on until 3 November 2018 – click here to find out what's on during the last few days of the Event.
