Team Eclipse update at F1 in Schools World Finals

The F1 in Schools World Finals have concluded! Although Team Eclipse came 11th, we're still incredibly proud of all they have achieved. They managed to set the fastest official and unofficial track time at the event, & were 4th fastest overall!

The team from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Faversham have been working together for around three years; they have had great successes in their journey, including coming third at the competition's National Finals twice and winning over 10 awards along the way. More importantly, in our view, they have organized a STEM competition for local primary schools - this is a super way to get young children involved in STEM, and is one of the many ways the team (and their school) have supported STEM.

The standard of competition was incredibly high. The quickest time they set was 1.013s, the fastest set by an F1 in Schools car since 2018! Although they didn't get a podium place, coming 11th out of 53 is still amazing.

We hope the youngsters will continue to do well in their studies and careers; undoubtedly, they have gained many experiences, skills and contacts along the way. They have made lots of new friends too!
