A thank you to our caterers

At our last meeting of the year it was a great pleasure to thank the folk that look after the catering at our regular meeting place, the St Lawrence Spitfire Ground in Canterbury (Kent County Cricket Club).

We regularly meet on the second floor of the Colin Cowdrey Conference Centre, and the team there work closely with our dining secretary, Rotarian Raj Dasan, to set up the room and to ensure that our various catering needs are looked after – so it was a nice chance to give them a warm round of applause for their year round efforts.

Our next regular meeting will be in January – but in the meantime our members (and invited guests) will be having our Rotary Christmas Dinner at the University of Kent and a New Year’s gathering hosted by our President Neil Fraser. Such get-togethers are an important part of building the camaraderie between members that adds to the charm of being a Rotarian. Importantly, they also allow us to build the relationships and networks that help us to help others.
