Evening presentation: Elizabeth Roberts – Laser Therapy

Earlier today we had a fascinating presentation by Elizabeth Roberts on laser therapy, something many of us had not heard of before.

Elizabeth qualified as a Low Level Laser Therapist for animals and humans in 2014. She works mainly with equines (horses) and canines (dogs), who come to her following veterinary referral – but apparently low level laser therapy can also be used to treat humans!

Low Level Laser refers to the application of red and near infra-red light over injuries to improve healing (both in time and quality of the healing), reducing Inflammation and providing relief for both acute and chronic pain.

Serious wounds and tendon injuries are a speciality but humans are also covered for wounds, broken bones, disc injuries and inflammatory conditions.
