We offer our warm congratulations to Hannah Simmons who received our Rotary Community Service Award today. Hannah, a schoolgirl at Barton Court School in Canterbury, bravely stopped a suicidal man from jumping off a roadside railway bridge earlier this year. Remarkably, it’s not the first time Hannah has helped someone – just 18 months or so ago she helped a man taken ill on a train. A well deserved award!
