Our club has recently given £250 to support a Canterbury family in great need. The request came via the local Children’s Social Work Team.
The money was used to clear the family’s garden, buy the family a small lawnmower, and help to buy some paint to decorate the children’s bedrooms. Social services arranged for the work to be carried out. They reported that the grant would improve the lives of the young children in the family.
