Try your luck, sponsor a duck!

“Try your luck & sponsor a duck!” Ducks for our Annual Duck Race will be being ‘sold’ in Whitefriars Shopping centre TODAY 9am-5pm … and also on Saturday the 24th August.

It’s only £1 per duck, which gives you a chance of winning prizes in our Annual Duck Race (our 20th) to be held in the Westgate Gardens at Canterbury on Sunday 15th September 2019

We have MORE prizes & more ducks than ever before this year:

1st prize, £250
2nd, £100
3rd, Cafe des Amis voucher
4th, Westgate Punts voucher
5th, Caraccio’s Hair & Beauty voucher
A big thanks to those donating the vouchers. Thanks also to Kentish Gazette, Gallagher, Direction Law, Thornhill Range Cookers and Necessary Furniture.

Go on, sponsor a duck (or few) beforehand to cheer on during the race – all the money we raise goes to great local and international causes and it’s only £1 per duck. Why not buy one for each member of the family for some added fun?

If you miss us today, our stand will also be at Whitefriar’s Shopping Centre on Saturday 24th August (9am – 5pm). A limited number of ducks can be sponsored on race day.

As usual, we’ll also have red-spotted corporate ducks too in the race – contact us by email at info@rotarycanterbury.org.uk if your company wants to take part.

The Duck Race event will open at 11am. Weather and conditions allowing, the race will start at 1pm. Finish times depend on conditions on the day. The wonderful Canterbury Lifesaving Club will be helping us out on the day by keeping ducks on course.
