The main point of The Point, of course, is to help reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles by encouraging people visiting Canterbury to refill their water bottles at its filling station. To do this, we need as many people as possible to spread the word about it. Today, we were delighted that EMIC members paid a visit…and posed for some pics!
EMIC (Ethnic Minorities in Canterbury) is a vibrant local community group with the vision: “To make the Canterbury District a place where all communities, can live healthily, be actively engaged and have equal opportunities.” It was lovely to have members visit The Point and see their excitement and enthusiasm for this new environmental initiative in Canterbury. They loved taking their pictures at The Point; we hope others will do likewise, as that’s how we can raise awareness of its purpose.
If you take a pic and are happy for us to share it for our publicity, just get in touch!
