World Polio Day: what are you doing this year?

Marking World Polio Day comes in all shapes and sizes. A few years ago we partnered with members of the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise to produce a purple-themed recipe book to help raise awareness of polio and the efforts Rotary has made to help combat the disease.

This Friday Rotarians all around the world will be marking World Polio Day. Over the years we have done all sorts of things to help raise awareness of polio – from dressing up in purple and selling purple crocus corms to lighting up St Dunstan’s Church in purple.

Our recipe book is still available on our website if you’re looking for some purple-inspiration. Turn to the back for few fundraising ideas too! Click here to find to how to download the e-book or to donate to help end polio.
