Vocational Service Committee

In its widest sense, Vocational Service encourages Rotarians to serve others through their jobs and to practice high ethical standards.

Our Club's Vocational Service Committee looks out at the world of work in the Canterbury area.  The committee arranges trips and visits for Club members and their partners to local business and enterprises.

Recent events have included a visit the the new Hitachi railway works at Ashford where the South-Eastern Railway's high speed trains are serviced.  Visits have also been made to the Canterbury Cathedral stonemasons' workshop, Parker Steel of Canterbury and Intake Engineering of Wingham.
