Introduction to our 2nd MGSE representative to Leuven

We were delighted to meet another one of the young people who will represent Canterbury in Leuven this year as part of our Mini Group Study Exchange (MGSE). Soon the two will be setting off on the amazing cultural exchange which, this year, is in Belgium.

We recently wrote about Emma Wilson, who will be one of our representatives. This time we were pleased to meet Amelia Coleman. Amelia joined us at our Bat & Trap evening in Broad Oak yesterday (more about that in another post later!)

Coincidentally, like Emma, Amelia is also a former student of Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School in Canterbury, although she’s currently studying English Literature at Warwick University.

Amelia is very excited about the upcoming trip – apparently the participants have a packed programme and the trip promises to be great fun! The youngsters often come back and tell us that they’ve made friends for life. We hope that will also be the case this year.

We very much look forward to hearing about the trip when Emma and Amelia come back to talk to us at a future date.

Did you know that MGSE is just one of the many activities our club is involved in to support young people?
