Helping Marie Curie UK with their collection

Our Members were very pleased to be able to help raise £1,257 for the local (South East) branch of Marie Curie by manning their collections at Morrisons in Canterbury.

Marie Curie UK is a charity that we've continued to help over the years, and we are grateful for the generosity of members of the public who donate cash or via card. On Friday we raised £196 via the card machine alone -  that day's card collection was the most collected by Marie Curie UK ever in Kent, which is great news!

Our President Tony Loughran thanked everyone for their donations - and also thanked the Members who volunteered their time for the cause.

Find out more about Marie Curie, and the end of life nursing and hospice care that they provide, here.
